The
Campaign for the Christian Liberal Arts at Houghton College
ended June 30,
2006 with
a total of all gifts
received
during the seven-year effort of $57.2 million. That amount
included $16.4

million
for current support (The Houghton Fund), $37.6 million for
the college’s endowment, and $3.2 million for capital
projects.
A campaign celebration, entitled “Strength for Today, Bright
Hope for Tomorrow” was held Saturday, October 7th
featuring faculty, staff and donors who spoke of how the
campaign had influenced their lives. Also on the program
were Campaign Chairs Lyn Barnett and David Blanchard, Board
of Trustees Chairman Karl Eastlack, former President Daniel
Chamberlain and President Shirley Mullen.
