@Houghton is the newsy section of the Milieu, where we catch you up on what's been happening here on campus since our last issue. Here are the stories you can find this time:

ConstructionThis summer has been a busy one, with construction equipment evident across the campus. Read about the projects to improve Houghton’s physical plant.

C.L.E.W.—Alice Mathews spoke during Christian Life Emphasis Week.

Earl's—Houghton College and Houghton Academy are the beneficiaries of an unusual trust gift: Earl's Restaurant in Chaffee.

New Faculty—Houghton welcomed fourteen faculty this year; read a little about them here.

Forestry Minor—Students may now add a forestry emphasis to their biology major, or minor in forestry.

Kingdom Bound—Over 60,000 people come each summer to hear contemporary Christian music, and we make sure they find out about Houghton College, too.

Woolsey Lecture—A newly endowed lecture series starts next month; it is named in honor of Warren Woolsey.

Zambia—Last May, ten Houghton students and two professors traveled to Zambia to develop and implement a pilot program in English literacy.

Advancement—The Campaign for Christian Liberal Arts at Houghton College has reached an end. Read about results and plans for celebrating.

Faculty/Staff News—What have Houghton faculty and staff been achieving outside the classroom? This is where we let you know.

Wesley Connection—Houghton College is a part of The Wesleyan Church, and one of the world's foremost experts on John and Charles Wesley—John Tyson—is on our faculty. Read Tyson's article about the Wesleys and the Reformation.
