Kingdom Bound

For the second consecutive year, Houghton College was a title sponsor of western New York’s premier Christian music festival, Kingdom Bound. From August 6-9, college personnel staffed three booths at Six Flags Darien Lake, where Kingdom Bound is held. Giving away T-shirts, buttons, X-boxes and laptop computers, the college made its presence felt throughout the theme park.

More than 5,200 students entering grades seven through 12 filled out reply cards during the festival, requesting additional information about the college. Hundreds of pastors, youth leaders and potential transfer students also gave their contact information to Houghton. This was the 20^th anniversary for Kingdom Bound Ministries and over 60,000 attended the festival.
