Adult Degree Programs

P.A.C.E.

P.A.C.E. is western New York's original accelerated adult degree completion program, begun in 1991. 

Adults 25 and up attend class one night a week, taking one course at a time. With approximately two years of transferable college credits, completion of a Bachelor of Science in Management is possible in about 16 months. 

The program is currently available in West Seneca, Olean, Arcade, and Jamestown, all in western New York state. Class cycles begin throughout the year. Contact the West Seneca office for details at 1-888-874-PACE or visit the P.A.C.E. Web site.

Equipping for Ministry (EFM)

This series of courses taught by knowledgeable Houghton faculty is geared to meet the needs of persons in ministry who are looking toward ordination in The Wesleyan Church or who are simply seeking personal enrichment. Pastoral and Church Ministries Program (PCMP)

The Pastoral and Church Ministries Program (PCMP) exists to prepare Christian leaders to minister more effectively in their urban communities by providing education in ministerial and lay ministry. Headquartered at 512 Pearl Street, 4th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14202, the PCMP offers courses in the fall, winter and spring terms. The program may be completed in one to two years of six terms by taking two to four courses per term. A certificate is awarded. Also, the PCMP is now offering an associates in applied science degree in Christian ministries. It will provide theological and practical application skills for those in, or interested in, ministry in urban areas.
