Daniel MinchenB.A., Speech/ Broadcasting, SUNY, Geneseo (1969) Masters of Science in Communication Management, the Newhouse School, Syracuse University (1998)

Experience: Professor Minchen’s career spans both broadcasting and business. After serving overseas in the U.S. Army Security Agency as a television and radio broadcaster, he worked for eight years in broadcasting, including time at Rochester’s 50,000-watt WHAM.

Professor Minchen joined Xerox Corporation and progressed through a variety of communication positions to become Director of Public Relations for the company’s developing markets division.

He managed communication strategy, projects and staff in Latin America as well as Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and India. He comes to Houghton after 27 years with Xerox.
