Gary Larder is the President / CEO of Rochester Community
Baseball Inc., the corporation which operates the Rochester Red
Wings baseball team and is responsible for all food & beverage
service for events at Frontier Field in Rochester, New York. The
Red Wings have a franchise in the Triple-A International League
and have a working agreement with the Minnesota Twins of the
American League.
Mr. Larder is a 1962 graduate of Houghton College and received
his M.B.A. degree from the University of Rochester in 1964. He
worked for 32 years at Xerox Corporation in Rochester, achieving
the position of Controller, Financial Planning & Analysis for
the United States Marketing organization.
Rochester Community Baseball Inc. recently reported their 2003
financial results, which included revenues of $6.5 million and
profits of $350 thousand. The baseball team was one of the few
sports teams in the Northeast to report attendance growth in
2003, a year of unusually damp weather and a year of economic
challenges.
