John Toohig '00
Mr. Toohig received his MBA from the University of Mississippi after graduating from Houghton College with a BA in business, and he has also earned Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, he worked at FTN Financial in their Capital Assets department. Afterwards, prior to joining the Mortgage Finance group, Mr. Toohig was a part of Morgan Keegan's Taxable Banking platform, where he was responsible for corporate debt transactions and automobile ABS transactions.
As 1st Vice President, Fixed Income Capital Markets, Mr. Toohig's responsibilities include tax analysis, pricing of mortgage, commercial and automobile portfolios, and the structuring of whole loan and participations transactions.
The purpose of the monthly Guest Executive Dinner series is to increase student exposure to marketplace professionals from various fields and service opportunities in order to encourage them to be both salt and light after college.
