Karen Fohl

Karen Fohl works for Olean General Hospital where she is Vice President for Institutional Advancement and President of the Olean General Hospital Foundation.

Olean General Hospital provides care to 100,000 people
in Olean and the surrounding communities including Houghton. The hospital  has an annual operating budget of $76 million with 900 employees and a medical staff which includes over 100 physicians.

Mrs. Fohl was born and raised in Olean, New York and graduated from Houghton’s P.A.C.E. program in 1995.  She presently lives in Lancaster, New York.

She is responsible for Community Relations, Marketing, Physician Relations, Physician Practices, the Gundlah Dental Center as well as Fundraising/Development. During her tenure the Foundation has raised $24 million which has helped to provide state-of-the–art equipment and a modern infrastructure. Click here for a YouTube sample of her remarks.
