becoming a certified Vocational Instructor of the State of
Massachusetts in 1979. He then attended Westfield State College.
Wright Architectural Millwork Corp. was founded in 1974. Mike has been
employed there since 1981 and has been an owner since 1993.
Architectural millwork is a $2.5 billion per year industry in
the United States. Clients are usually general contractors and
the end users include corporate clients such as law firms,
brokerage houses, Fortune 500 advertising and marketing
companies, banks, and investment firms, as well as many of the more
well known private secondary schools, colleges and universities.
Mike and wife Ann Marie have three boys, Christopher, Jonathan
and Nathaniel, and have been members of Westfield Evangelical
Free Church for the past 17 years.
“We create environments that project a lasting first impression
for their clients. Wood gives everyone the feeling of
authenticity, quality, integrity and trust.”
Mr. Buell was our guest on March 1, 2004.
The monthly Guest Executive Dinner series is sponsored by Houghton's business department for the purpose of increasing student exposure to marketplace professionals from various fields and service opportunities to be both salt and light after college.
