Theater Emphasis at Houghton
The
communication minor with theater emphasis is a
cross-disciplinary program designed for students interested in
the performing arts. The program provides students with
experience in a variety of dramatic formats. In addition to
required courses in Public Speaking, Oral Interpretation,
Theater Arts, and Reader’s Theater, students often contract to
study Opera Workshop, Modern Drama, or Shakespeare.
