Entrepreneurial missions and church planting
InterAct Ministries, Siberia
Enabling the Tuvan indigenous church to become financially sustainable through holistic, transformational, and economic development.
Intercultural Studies '07 Minors: Missions, Linguistics, Russian Studies, Bible
I am working with InterAct Ministries in the Tuva Republic of Siberia. While the overall aim of the missions is to see culturally relevant churches transforming communities, I am working towards the establishment of small and medium sized enterprises, which help to alleviate poverty as well as provide a source of revenue for the indigenous church planting movement. During Houghton years I studied in Russia twice, and made multiple trips to Mongolia before and during college — all shaping my current vision.
