Finishing up Master's in Applied Linguistics and Exegesis, accepted position as linguist and translator.

Intercultural Studies and Bible '04 Concentration: Linguistics

To fulfill the Intercultural Experience requirement of the INCL major, I went on a "Discovery Trip" with Wycliffe Bible Translators to Papua New Guinea (PNG) for two months. That experience confirmed for me that God was calling me into Bible translation.

After graduation I worked for two years, became a member of Wycliffe in 2006, and headed to the Canada Institute of Linguistics to complete my training. In April 2008, I will graduate with my Master's in Applied Linguistics and Exegesis, and I have accepted an assignment with SIL International to go to PNG as a linguist/translator in January 2009!
