Optional Spanish Concentration - 16 Credits

  Students are expected to take SPAN 301 Spanish Communication as the conversation requirement for the INCL core.

  • Spanish Phonetics (SPAN 305), 4 hours

  • The Latino in the U.S. (SPAN 312), 4 hours
  • Advanced Spanish Grammar and Composition (SPAN 350), 4 hours
  • Advanced Conversation: Film and Culture (SPAN 410), 4 hours
  • Latin American Human Rights Narratives (SPAN 412), 4 hours
  • Faith and Society in Latin America (SPAN 414), 4 hours
  • Other Spanish courses approved by the chair of the Department of World Languages and Literatures.  If the course is taken abroad or through Mayterm the total number of hours must equal or exceed 16.  Courses taken abroad may be substituted for the required courses.
