Budapest Semesters in Mathematics

Houghton College has recently signed an agreement with the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) program that allows Houghton mathematics majors to participate in this off-campus program while retaining much of their financial aid.

This program allows talented mathematics students to study for a semester in Budapest, Hungary while enriching their mathematics major with a wide range of mathematics courses taught in English by eminent Hungarian professors. Houghton students who apply to BSM must be mathematics majors who have completed either the Algebra I or Real Analysis course.
