Are you ready to apply to Houghton? It'll take some work. You'll have to write an essay, submit a Christian character recommendation, send transcripts and test scores. Spring semester admission
While most students choose to apply for the fall semester, some opt for spring admission. Our second semester starts in January.
Application for the spring 2012 semester is now closed. We are now accepting applications for the spring 2013 semester.
Fall 2012 application deadlines
We all work better with deadlines, right? So while we operate on a rolling admission basis, which means we accept applications throughout the year, we recommend that you submit your application with the timetable below in mind. And remember: the sooner you complete your application, the sooner you'll hear back from us. And for some programs, namely the Houghton Honors Program, applying early is strongly recommended.

Submit your application for admission and begin to fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) If your entire application file (including transcripts, test scores and recommendation) is complete by December 1, you'll have an admission decision by January 15, 2012. |

Priority Financial Aid Consideration |
Submit and complete our application and FAFSA by March 1 to receive priority consideration for academic scholarships and other financial aid. |

If you are admitted and choose to enroll at Houghton College, submit your confirmation of enrollment and deposit by this day. |
