Step 1: Pre-Application

International students must complete and submit the pre-application form and financial affidavit and be approved by the Admission Committee before completing the application for admission

  • The pre-application form helps us to get to know you by asking questions about your background, spiritual life and secondary school experience.

  • The financial affidavit indicates where your financial support will come from to fund your studies at Houghton. Your support may come from your own personal funds or those of a family member or sponsor. Since Houghton has limited funds to offer international students we expect you to cover all yearly expenses ($32,790 U.S.).

  • The Fall 2011 semester pre-application deadline is March 15, 2011.
