Interesting fact about me

I stayed an extra two months as a nanny for a British family after completing Houghton's First Year Honors Program.  Later that summer I volunteered at various orphanages, schools, and slum-based youth centers in south-central India.

Why I chose Houghton

I felt at home as soon as I stepped on campus.  Talking with Professor Roederer for several hours during my visit and being accepted to the Honors program sealed the deal.

Favorite Houghton Memory

Freshman year, I was eating lunch and talking with some newfound friends in the cafeteria.  Next thing we knew, the dining hall workers were setting up the salad bar for dinner!  Of course, there was nothing for it but to shrug, get back in line for dinner - and keep talking!
