Most transfer students say that the small classes, close-knit campus, and Christ-centered atmosphere helped them make a smooth transition to Houghton life. Houghton is a place where you can easily find your niche.

As a Christian college, Houghton offers over 40 majors and programs. Its co-curricular opportunities include outreach groups, intramural and intercollegiate athletics, various clubs and organizations, and countless opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other ministries.

With a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1 and average class size of 21 students, you will benefit from faculty that are not only experts in their fields, but who are also committed Christians who integrate their faith into their classes.
