Biology Minors

Two minors are offered within the biology department: a general minor in biology and a minor in forestry.

Biology Minor: 12 hours

12 hours above BIOL 151, 152.

Forestry Minor: 14 hours

The forestry minor is offered through coursework taken at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) Ranger School based at Wanakena in the Adirondack Park. Faculty from SUNY-ESF teach the courses.

The minor typically runs during a fall semester at SUNY-ESF. Students interested in an emphasis within the biology major have additional coursework required.
