Day of Prayer for Climate Change

March 31, 2014 | 07:00 AM to 08:00 AM

Join us in the Campus Center Van Dyk Lounge for a see-you-at-the-pole style prayer event on climate change.  As the global climate continues to warm, natural disasters become worse, sea levels rise, and changing precipitation patterns threaten quality of human life, the need for prayer on climate issues has never been greater.  In addition, only the power of prayer can break the contentious atmosphere surrounding discussion of climate change in our public discourse.  This prayer event will focus on directing our hearts and prayers toward the spiritual aspects of climate change by focusing on forgiveness, compassion, provision for the suffering, and justice for the oppressed.  Please join us in humbly bringing this critical issue before our Savior.
