Documenting America: Photographs from the Farm Security Administration
Friday November 9- Thursday December 18
Reception: November 10th 7-9 pm

Documenting America features black and white photographs taken by artists working for the Farm Security Administration (FSA). These 40 images—just a small sampling of the over 80,000 images produced by FSA photographers—capture the harsh realities of life in Depression-era America. Highlights include images by Ben Shahn, Marjory Collins, Arthur Rothstein, Walker Evans, and Dorothea Lange's iconic photograph, Migrant Mother. All images in Documenting America have been generously loaned by the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University
