Guest Professional Dinner: David Causer '74

Mr. Causer is a 1974 graduate with a BA in Business Administration. He started working in the Southwestern Advantage student internship program as a freshman in college to earn money to finance education in 1971 and has stayed with the company since that first summer. He recruited, trained and managed a 1,000 person sales organization of university students and became the youngest director in the 125 year history of the Southwestern company. He started Global Educational Concepts, an international sponsorship organization in 2006. He has personally recruited over 8,000 J1 students from 52 different countries that have participated in the Southwestern Advantage program.

The Guest Professional Dinner Series is an opportunity to introduce students to marketplace professionals from a variety of fields and areas of expertise. Guest Professional Dinners are sponsored by the VOCA Center and the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Dinners are open to all students, alumni, and community members.
Dinner: 5:00-5:30pm
Formal presentation: 5:30-6:15pm
Informal questions and networking: 6:15-6:30pm
