Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry/Biochemistry
Full time. Tenure track. Fall 2015 (option to begin Jan 2015).
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach and lead curriculum development in Biochemistry and also teach a combination of introductory and upper-level lecture and laboratory courses in their area of chemical expertise. Collaborative research with undergraduates is expected.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in chemistry or engineering is required. Candidates with interests in bio-medical or bio-molecular engineering or bio-physical chemistry will be given preference. A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, a mature Christian faith, strong communication skills, and an ability to mentor students are important qualities for this position.
Salary and Academic rank will be determined based on experience.
