Assistant Professor of Philosophy
Full Time. Tenure Track. Fall 2018. PhD must be in hand by August 2018.
Ideal candidate will have broad competence in the history of philosophy with interests in intellectual and cultural history generally. Alongside courses in philosophical theology, one major responsibility of the successful candidate would be teaching courses in the College’s interdisciplinary humanities core sequence, with occasional assignments also teaching in the College’s London honors semester. Interest in program-building at a small teaching institution a must.
Other desirable Qualifications:
Willingness to teach introductory logic or courses in applied ethics.
