Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry - Fall 2013
Full-time, tenure-track, faculty appointment in the Department of Chemistry at the assistant or associate level starting in the Fall semester of 2013.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach and lead curriculum development in Biochemistry and also teach a combination of introductory and upper-level lecture and laboratory courses in their area of chemical expertise. Collaborative research with undergraduates is expected.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in chemistry is required. Academic rank will be determined based on experience. Candidates with interdisciplinary interests in biology will be given preference. A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, a mature Christian faith, strong communication skills, and an ability to mentor students are important qualities for this position.
