Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to equip students with a broad knowledge base in classical horsemanship, including theory, philosophy, riding, teaching, and care of the horse – all while cultivating a Christlike scholar-servant. There are no “cookie cutter students,” for each is a unique individual to be guided, coached, and encouraged to excellence in his or her own unique interests and talents.

Research Interests

  • Studying dressage with instructors of international renown

o   Studied with Walter Zettl and did illustrations/proofreading for his book Dressage in Harmony; Molly Sivewright; Carel Eijkenaar; Eddo Hoekstra
