Seth Taylor has more than a dozen years of practical experience in information technology in both the corporate environment (Symantec Corporation) and the higher education environment (Houghton University).  His specialty is computer networking, where he has certifications and almost a decade of experience as a network administrator and network engineer.  His current favorite programming language is Python, though he has programmed in more than a dozen others in the past.  He regularly employs computer science majors to assist with the design and administration of the network at Houghton University, giving them valuable real-world experience.
