A Thank You ...
I want to express my deepest appreciation to all of you for the wonderful Christmas presents that you purchased for our residents this year. As always I was amazed at your generosity and thoughtfulness! I know that it is an added expense in each of your budgets and a real sacrifice on your parts. Our Open House was a lovely event thanks in large part to your kindness. Our residents were so thrilled with their gifts and asked me to pass along their gratitude to you.
I was assisting one of my residents in opening his presents this year and when he received the camoflauge shirt and Buffalo Bills hat that he had so badly wanted, he kissed the hat and exclaimed “it’s like someone read my mind!” This is a perfect example of the effort and love that all of you put into your gifts for my residents. It is one thing to receive a nice gift, it is another thing entirely to receive a gift meant just for you. Thank you for bringing some joy into the lives of the dear folks who live here. I am forever grateful.
In closing, I wish a year full of God’s richest blessings and joy for each one of you. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
