Intensive study of East African ethnic groups – their beliefs, behaviors, work, societies. Lectures, which include foundational anthropological theory as well as ethnic descriptions, are augmented by observations and home stays amongst the Massai, Kelenjin, Murle, Hehe or other peoples.
