POLS 270 Introduction to Public Policy

An introduction to the nature of public problems and the diverse ways in which governments respond. Includes concepts and methods of policy analysis, legal instruments of public policy, legislation and its implementation, the work of public agencies at various levels of government, and the role of the courts in the policy process.
