INCL 312 Field Experience in Development

A cross-cultural experience in an approved setting in the area of International Development. Preliminary studies and research, the dynamics of living and serving, ongoing mentorship, and periodic reflection will result in the student completing an analysis of the development work experienced in relation to its cultural context. The student will also keep a journal during the experience and write a summary paper on the experience in the culture. This experience may be linked to formal study-abroad programs, official internship affiliation, or pre-approved individual arrangements.
