For Your Information
Honors will be printed on the program and will reflect the information available to the Records Office at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8. Please note that college policy states that transfer students who have fewer than 62 hours at Houghton are not eligible for honors.
Diplomas will be mailed to the graduate's home address on file in the Academic Records Office within 4-6 weeks of completing their requirements.
All college bills (including library fines) must be paid at least one week prior to commencement—Friday, May 3, by 3:00 p.m. (Please note: diplomas cannot be mailed to students with outstanding accounts or fines.)
All library books must be returned to the library by Tuesday, May 7, at 5 p.m. (Please note: diplomas cannot be mailed to students with unreturned library books.)
The College has made arrangements with Genesee Photo Systems to take pictures of this year's commencement proceedings. Genesee Photo takes individual shots of each graduate as he or she receives a diploma and walks across the stage. Ordering these photos is entirely optional, but this service is available. Commencement images are usually available on-line at www.geneseephoto.com within a week, and no-obligation proofs will be mailed to graduates within two weeks.
Houghton Audio/Visual Department will videotape the entire commencement. A live video stream of the commencement will be viewable online at http://www.houghton.edu/
