Housing and Meal Information for Commencement

Student Housing

On-campus students will remain in their rooms through the close of commencement. Graduating students who are off campus in the spring semester will need to make arrangements for room and board while here for commencement. Contact Rebecca Crouch in the Conference Office for reservations or other housing questions via commencement@houghton.edu
(Graduating students do not need tickets for the Senior Banquet.)

Guest Housing

For guests who wish to stay off-campus, there are a number of area accommodations for your consideration.  Many colleges hold commencement at this same time, and we recommend that you make your plans early.

Guest Meals

Guests must purchase meal tickets in order to eat on campus for Friday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Saturday breakfast, using the Registration link below.

Receptions following both Baccalaureate and Commencement are open to everyone, without need for tickets.

Registration for housing and meals is now closed.

Special Needs/Circumstances

If a guest has special physical needs, please advise Rebecca Crouch as soon as possible at commencement@houghton.edu for accommodations in room selection, the chapel, and the dining hall.

Questions regarding special circumstances can be directed to eva.hillman@houghton.edu in the Academic Dean's Office (585.567.9315).

Married Students

If a graduate is married, commencement information will likely go directly to them and not to parents.  Graduates will need to see that parents are notified.
