Houghton College has been approved by BOCES to offer the Wilderness Adventures Ropes Course (WARC) experience to approved Allegany and Catt. County Schools.  The WARC will enable students to maximize their engagement in group problem solving and improve development of social awareness through guided group engagements by our trained professional staff.  All students will engage in our group, Low Ropes Course activities and also have the opportunity to engaging in the High Altitude Ropes Course if desired.

*All lesson plans have been submitted and pre-approved by BOCES | Schools do not have to submit a lesson plan for this event.

Located in the woods at Houghton College, the WARC is a three hour program that will help students practice leadership, team building, self-growth, confidence, communication, values clarification, creative thinking, and trust.

*Complimentary lunch at the Houghton College Dining Hall will be provided for schools who sign up for multiple sessions or 20+ participants.


$550 for first 1-10 participants | $45 for each additional participant.

Lunch Option (not covered by the COSER reimbursement) $5 per person | FREE if over 20 participants.
