Interculturally experienced faculty and intercultural experiential learning.
Houghton’s Intercultural Studies Department faculty have extensive experience living, working and serving in cross-cultural settings around the world and integrate these experiences into the classroom, lead trips to places as nearby as Buffalo, N.Y. and as distant as Tanzania. All Intercultural Studies and International Development students complete a field based experiential learning component.
