No matter what students study in school, innovation is the spotlight
in tomorrow's global theater of business and education; and yes, no
matter what age ...
You Too Can Think Like an Inventor!
Inventing is as much of an art, as it is a science. At the beginning
of the week, all camp teens will be presented with an exciting and
fun challenge to solve a REAL WORLD PROBLEM.
You will see how to do this by thinking like inventors! Your team
will work throughout the week building critical skills as your
invention begins to form. Additionally, you will have the
opportunity to learn how to think like an inventor from listening to
real inventor guest speakers.
Our Inventor Mentor can even help you (following the Camp) to file
Patents in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington D.C..
This is a value-added service that is available for those young
inventor's who wish to file their ideas as Patents. Our Inventor
Mentor will teach you how to legally register your idea, as a
properly trained young Inventor, and show you how to make it
official.
This unique camp does not show favoritism to the brainy or the book
smart. Everyone is on the same level playing field because we all
have thoughts, imaginations, and a creative side. At the camp, you will discover your "invention
development" potential. Students from (approximately) middle/high school
grades 9-12; and, NO educational prerequisites are required.
Inventor's Camp will culminate in a public Exposition with team
presentations. The camp will conclude with a special awards
ceremony. Awards include: scholarships, team awards, and special
recognition awards.
Consider this first-of-a-kind thought-provoking camp. Every great
invention had to start with a revolutionary thought or idea. Here is
your chance to see how a crazy thought could have the potential for
a great change, a contribution to life, or even our planet ... as we
know it.
