The National Sacred Honor Choir
The National Sacred Honor Choir presents an exciting opportunity to bring Christian musicians together to celebrate – at the highest level – the marriage of sacred art music and the Christian musician.
The choir is comprised of Christian musicians who are serious about implementing their faith into the sacred choral orchestral masterworks.
At the inaugural performance in March 2014, the National Sacred Honor Choir will perform Mozart’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with a professional orchestra and professional soloists at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
You are invited to participate in this unique opportunity – the only opportunity in the country for Christian students to sing a sacred masterwork in Carnegie Hall, the hub of art music in the United States.
The National Sacred Honor Choir is led by Maestro Brandon Johnson, Director of Choral Activities at the Greatbatch School of Music, Houghton College – a new generation of conductor who leads with great passion and sensitivity.
Participation in the choir is by invitation only or through competitive audition. We hope you will join us for this inaugural event.
