Christian Life Emphasis Week

Guest Speaker: Jeremy Kingsley

Houghton College is pleased to host speaker, best-selling author, and president of OneLife Leadership, Jeremy Kingsley, to address the student body during Christian Life Emphasis Week 2012. CLEW will take place from Sunday, September 9, through Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Events are open to the public and free of charge.

Each fall semester, CLEW provides special chapel and evening speakers to facilitate Houghton’s commitment to spiritual growth of its students.

This year’s speaker, Jeremy Kingsley, is a teacher and the author of Getting Back Up When Life Knocks You Down and Be Last. He is also the founder and director of OneLife Ministries, a non-profit, faith-based ministry that embodies Kingsley’s passion to see people grow in the truth of Jesus Christ and become ignited with love for God.

Kingsley will be sharing messages in Wesley Chapel throughout the week:

Sunday, September 9, 7 p.m., “Be Last”

Monday, September 10, 11 a.m., “Reputation”

Monday, September 10, 7 p.m., “Loving Father”

Tuesday, September 11, 11 a.m., “Stand Up”

Tuesday, September 11, 7 p.m., “The Rebel”

Wednesday, September 12, 11 a.m., “Cover or Confess”

Wednesday at 7:00pm, CLEW will conclude with a showing of the film “Undaunted: The Early Life of Josh McDowell.”
