An agreement has been made between Houghton College and Jamestown Community College (JCC) for those students who wish to transfer from JCC into Houghton’s psychology program.

“We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with JCC by partnering to enable students who are particularly passionate about psychology through a seamless transfer into Houghton,” says Ryan Spear, the associate director of admission at Houghton College.

This program, titled 2+2, allows students having completed at least two years at JCC to seamlessly transfer into Houghton’s psychology program. Once students transfer into Houghton, they will be able to choose from a variety of concentrations within the psychology major. Some of the concentrations are applied/pre-therapy, developmental and cognitive/social.

JCC students interested in the 2+2 program may speak with their current adviser to pursue this option.
