Houghton College was once again named one of the 727 Best Colleges for Your Money by Money Magazine.

Houghton was one of 38 governing- and associate-member institutions of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) to be included. Additionally, the college was one of 11 schools from the Western New York Consortium of Higher Education on the list.

The listing takes into account common criteria such as graduation rates, tuition, borrowing, alumni earnings, and more. Money weighed an additional 22 data points under the categories of quality of education, affordability, and outcomes – including peer and instructor quality, six-year and value-added graduation rates, affordability for low-income students, mid-career and 20-year graduate earnings, and more. The magazine sourced data from the United States Department of Education, Peterson’s, PayScale.com, and Money/College Measures calculations.
