On December 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Houghton College will be hosting its 27th annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair. Vendors from across Western New York will be selling pottery, jewelry, baked goods, soaps, garlands, wreaths, and much more in the Reinhold Campus Center. Houghton students are also contributing handmade jewelry, letterpress prints, and ornaments to the fair.
Each year, the Arts and Crafts Fair is held in the beginning of December, and provides community members and students a unique opportunity to find something special for the holidays. Last year, there were over 75 vendors offering everything from handmade one-of-a-kind works of art to Pampered Chef products. “This event is really a one-stop shopping,” commented a current Houghton student. “I was able to buy almost all of my Christmas gifts for my friends and family.”
The fair represents a solid opportunity for the vendors as well. It costs a mere $15.00 to reserve a booth for both days and the fair provides exposure to hundreds of shoppers. There are still several openings remaining for vendors.
