Pamela Witter Recognized by Leadership Cattaraugus

Pamela H. Witter was recently chosen as the 2012 alumna of the year by Leadership Cattaraugus.

 

Ms. Witter, a 2006 Leadership Cattaraugus graduate, is employed in the advancement department at Houghton College. She serves as secretary of the Houghton College staff cabinet. She actively assists many area organizations including Allegany County 4- H, Greater Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, and Cuba First Baptist Church.

She is the recipient of the Greater Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, Outstanding Achiever Award (2012) and President's Award (2011); Council for the Advancement and Support of Education District II, Accolades Award (2012); Buffalo Business First "40 Under Forty" honoree (2011); and HomeCare & Hospice, I.C.A.R.E. Award (2008).

Leadership Cattaraugus, dedicated to growing informed and active civic and community leaders, was established in 2004 as a collaboration among the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, Jamestown Community College's Cattaraugus County Campus, The ReHabilitation Center, and St. Bonaventure University. Criteria for participants include demonstrated leadership potential, commitment to voluntary and/or civic service, and a clear desire to contribute to the region's well- being.
