HIRES NEW DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
HOUGHTON,

– Donald Haingray has been hired as director of technology services at Houghton
College.
“Haingray
brings eighteen years of solid IT experience in major corporate environments,”
said Jeff Spear, vice president for finance and treasurer of Houghton College.
“Our greatest need for the next few years will be coordinating a migration to a
new administrative system. Haingray's hands-on project management in complex
environments will be invaluable as we carefully navigate this process. We are
indeed fortunate to have secured an individual of this caliber.”
Haingray comes to
Houghton after working as the senior manager responsible for recruiting and
developing the systems engineering resources for Pitney Bowes Management
Services. While managing a $2.8 million budget he performed technical business
case reviews, software evaluations and vendor negotiations. He also worked as a
manager in consulting and integration during the merger of Danka Services
International with Pitney Bowes Management Services.
From 1986-1997 he
served as an information services project manager for UPS. Haingray was
responsible for the installation, configuration and support of wide and local
area networks and workstations. In this role he also conducted presentations
for national and global account managers, supervised technicians, and designed
custom software solutions to meet customer needs.
Haingray
completed pre-engineering course work at Houghton College. He earned his
bachelors’ from SUNY Brockport in 1990.
