THIRD ISSUE OF STONEWORK NOW ONLINE

HOUGHTON, N.Y.—The third issue of Houghton College’s literary journal, Stonework, is now available online.

This issue includes the fiction of Tom Noyes and poetry from Sandra Duguid, Robert Siegel, Laurie Klien and an anthology of Australian poets. Also included are the work of and an interview with Julia Kasdorf, a visiting writer at Houghton’s Spring Writing Festival last year. Kasdorf’s awards include the Book of the Year Award from the Conference on Christianity and Literature, and the Pushcart Prize for poetry.

Featured in this issue are essays from Houghton faculty Terence Paige (professor of New Testament), Laurie Dashnau (associate professor of English) and James Wardwell (associate professor of English). The artistic spotlight is on the portraits of Aileen Ortlip Shea, including video interviews and an online gallery of her work with introduction by Houghton Professor of Art Ted Murphy. The music focus is on retired Houghton composer-in-residence William T. Allen with his autobiographical reflections and a recording of his work.

Stonework is published through the collaboration of students and faculty of Houghton College. The editorial board for this issue was comprised of Professor of English John Leax and students Benjamin Walker, Shannon Callan and Mari Lamp.
