Comedy Night With Taylor Mason,
Daren Streblow & Bob Stromberg
HOUGHTON, N.Y. —Houghton College is hosting a comedy night with comedian Taylor Mason, Daren Streblow and Bob Stromberg on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in Wesley Chapel. This comedy night is sponsored by The Family Life Network located in Bath, N.Y.
Taylor Mason has headlined every major comedy club in the U.S., where he has performed for audiences of every age. His routine uses 25-30 puppets and combines stand-up comedy, music and ventriloquism. Mason’s TV show, “Taylor’s Attic,” won a 2006 Emmy Award. Other awards include winning the $100,000 “Star Search” grand prize in 1991 and an Emmy for his TV pilot “Bananas” in 2004. Mason is regularly featured on The Disney Cruise Line.
Daren Streblow has been an observational stand-up comedian since 1995. He has been featured at Bill Gaither’s Praise Gathering, at numerous Youth for Christ events, and at countless Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings. He has also been featured at the Funny People of Faith Tour and at the National Pastor’s Conventions and Youth Specialties. Streblow regularly performs nationwide at corporate events, comedy clubs and colleges.
For over 30 years Bob Stromberg has traveled the world performing his unique blend of stand-up and story comedy. He has been a featured and favorite emcee for many large stadium and arena gatherings. Stromberg has written three books: “Why Geese Fly Farther than Eagles,” “Finding the Magnificent in Lower Mundane” and “The Miracle at Stinky Bay.” He also coauthored and starred in the theatrical production of “Triple Espresso,” which has become the longest running stage production in the history of San Diego.
