New Vision Week Features Mark Klink of Food for the Hungry
HOUGHTON, N.Y. —New Vision Week at Houghton College features Mark Klink, associate director of mobilization and training at Food for the Hungry, as guest speaker.
Food for the Hungry is an international relief and development organization that answers God’s call to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in more than 26 countries. As associate director Klink mobilizes and helps prepare Christians to serve or study abroad among some of the world’s poorest people. He speaks at colleges and churches nationwide regarding the plight of the world’s poor and the need for Christian holistic community development. He also interacts with college students and helps them discern God’s direction for their lives.
Klink will present a series of lectures on “Thy Kingdom Come.” Looking at Exodus and Psalms, Klink will focus on the kind of ruler Christ is, how the kingdom of God has changed because of the fall, and how it can be restored to peace and justice.
