National Printmaking Exhibit to Open at Houghton
HOUGHTON,
N.Y. —The Houghton College Ortlip Art Gallery will display
“Plot Influential: A National Printmaking Exhibition” Jan. 30-March
5.
Artists nationwide contributed prints and posters, resulting in an exquisite exhibit that reveals the myriad possibilities of the printmaking form. This exhibit includes pieces from Isadora Bullock, Steve Cole, Margaret Denk-Leigh, April Flanders, Darius Hill, John Hitchcock, Drew Iwaniw, Bedrich Kocman, Lynwood Kreneck, Kyla Luedtke, Michelle Martin, Dennis McNett, Jim Neel, Lloyd Patterson Jr., Meg Rahaim, Derrick Riley, Brandon Sanderson, Kevin Shook, Jillian Sokso, Sean Star Wars, Scott Stephens, Shelley Thorstensen, Hui-Chu Ying and Ross Zirkle.
This exhibit is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is also invited to attend a free reception and artist talk with Meg Rahaim, of Mount Saint Mary’s University, on Friday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
