Fall Athletes Receive All-AMC Awards

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The American Mideast Conference (AMC) recognized Houghton College fall athletes for their accomplishments on the field this season. Sixteen students were awarded All-AMC Conference awards for their performances.    

Two members of the women’s cross country team were honored. Senior Kaitlin Fadden (Hyde Park, N.Y.) was chosen for the All-AMC First Team and teammate Danielle Brenon ’12 (Endwell, N.Y.) received All-AMC Honorable Mention. Fadden also represented the Highlanders at the NAIA National Tournament where she placed 28th out of 330 runners.  

The men’s cross country team was represented by Stephen Hine. The sophomore harrier from Dansville, N.Y., was named an All-AMC Honorable Mention recipient.

Senior Holly Motheral (Paris, Ontario) was also honored by the AMC. The middle blocker, who recorded 275 kills on the season, received All-AMC Honorable Mention.
