Fall Athletes Continue To Be Honored
HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton College fall athletes were honored with more season-end accolades from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA). Both organizations have released their choices for regional and all-American teams along with team ethics awards. This list of awards is in addition to the numerous accolades Houghton fall athletes have already acquired from the NAIA and the American Mideast Conference.

NSCAA Team Ethics Award
This award is given to collegiate soccer teams across the United States who have completed the 2009 season without receiving penalty cards. Houghton College Women’s Soccer Team was one of nine teams in the nation to have played its season without receiving any yellow or red cards. This is the ninth time the team has been recognized with this honor.
