Houghton College Announces Signed Contract For West Seneca Campus

HOUGHTON,
N.Y. – Houghton College is pleased to announce that a
signed contract for the sale of their West Seneca Campus has been
received from Young Development. The contract includes a
two-year arrangement allowing the college to utilize the main
college building - Lambein Learning Center - to offer Houghton's
adult degree completion program, Program for Accelerated College
Education (P.A.C.E.), which awards a B.S. in management to
successful graduates.
The West Seneca Campus is one of six sites to offer P.A.C.E. "The P.A.C.E. program of Houghton College is vital component within the educational curriculum offered by the college," remarked Dr. Ronald Mahurin, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college. "We look forward to developing and further strengthening P.A.C.E. in West Seneca and throughout Western New York in order to offer adult learners the opportunity to complete their degree with a nationally-recognized educational institution."

Established in 1991, P.A.C.E. is designed for individuals who have pursued at least part of their college education and are attempting to complete their bachelor’s degree. Students attend class on weekday evenings in classrooms throughout western New York – including locations in West Seneca, Olean, Arcade, Jamestown, Dansville and Williamsville.
